Who is Cung Le

Cung Le is an actor/mma fighter with quite an impressive record not just on the MMA arena. However, his story begins where he was born in Vietnam, in 1975, right before the fall of Saigon. He and his motherAnne, escaped Vietnam by a helicopter that was under heavy fire. When his mother and him came to the United States his mother enrolled him into Taekwondo classes at the age of 10.

Le started wrestling as quoted from Wiki, "Le began wrestling competitively at age 14 after being inspired by his all time favorite actor Sylvester Stallone in Rocky 1 and earned All-American Honors in his Junior year of High School."
Imagine that, he started wrestling as late as 14 years old then at the end of high-school he became one of the best in his weight class. He went on to wrestle at West Valley College, Saratoga California where he ended up winning the state championship (at 158 pound weight class in 1990) and became one of the best in the state.
Not only did he have a pedigree in wrestling but Le, as of this writing, is undefeated at SanShou (A Chinese self defense art known for its throwing, kicking and punching), and he also entered K-1 (a kick boxing organization in Japan) where he earned 3 wins no losses, including a knock out.
Now, with such an arsenal of training and endurance, Cung Le was already a Mixed Martial Artist before MMA became mainstream, and he made his MMA debut in 2006, Knocking out his first four Opponents( One KO was a TKO) and breaking Frank Shamrock's arm. Cung Le has compiled 7 MMA victories and one loss which he avenged with a spinning back kick and strikes, to gain another KO.
With all of these accolades, you'd think that fighting would be the only thing that Cung Le is doing, yet, he is also an actor, and set to play in a lead role in the movie Dragon Eyes which will be based on MMA.

With all that said, here's to Cung Le and he will have my support!
