UFC 135 Jones vs Rampage

UFC 135 Jones vs Rampage

UFC 135 will be here on September 24th and pray there are no injuries for this main event, because it will be awesome to see Jones vs Rampage. These are my predictions for the main event.

Some are saying this will be Jone's second real challenge and some are saying his first, since Rua had so much ring rust and maybe or most likely wasn't 100 percent.

Rampage, as anyone knows, can end a fight with a punch and no one has seen how hard really Jones' jaw is. Still, if a flush shot lands from Rampage then it could all be over for Jones in the blink of an eye no matter how hard his chin is.

Nevertheless, that one shot will not be easily landed, since Jones has amazing reach and is able to throw down opponents that get too close, due to his size. But, Rampage will have 5 rounds to land a clean shot, so the odds are higher, but I don't think it will go that long honestly.

My gut says Bones will win this one because Rampage will tire, but Jones will not. I am picking reach and size over power and toughness, and saying Bones, the younger man, will take Rampage down and pound him out.

Once Jones secures the take down power and toughness will not be enough. I could be wrong but I am saying Jones by TKO third round.

And as always, best of luck to both
sportsman!

UFC 133

Its time to get my prediction-face on for the main event of UFC 133. We have Rashad taking on Tito Ortiz (Which was going to be Jones, but Jones pulled out, and then it was going to be Phil Davis then he pulled out, then Machida but he backed out and so Tito was the only one to step up).

Tito just came off a big win over Ryan Bader, and has rarely looked better (which is saying a lot, since Tito has not won since 2006). Nevertheless, Tito has had some close battles where he almost won but this time he says he is 100 percent, so we have take his word on it, for now.

With that said, this is a new era and Rashad is one of the best in the world. Rashad has only one loss in his career and has a draw which came from none other than Tito Ortiz (Tito would have won if he did not grab the fence and obtain a point deduction). Nevertheless, I do not see a younger and quicker (but most likely not stronger) Rashad losing to even a fit Tito.

Rashad is no Ryan Bader, he is at the top of the food chain, a man who has finished Griffin and UD Rampage Jackson and UD Thaigo Silva. There are still too many unanswered questions for me to choose the Huntington Beach Bad Boy.

With all that said, I believe Rashad will cruise to a UD.

But, as always, good luck to both Gentleman!

UFC VERSUS 5

Here are my predictions for UFC VERSUS 5, Hardy vs Lytle!

Who will win the main event? This has to be one of the hardest UFC events to pick. I believe that Hardy is only slightly better at striking than Lytle, but Lytle is a little better at Wrestling and BJJ.

That said, something in my gut says Hardy, who has to win this or he could face termination, since this would be his 4th lost in a row. How can Hardy win? He has to keep it standing and land detrimental shots but he has to keep doing this for 3 rounds. This seems hard, but I believe that Hardy has prepared extensively for the take down and his kickboxing will win the day. Hardy cannot fight arrogantly though with Lytle, and has to keep it tight unless he wants a repeat of what happened to him with Condit. Hardy himself might also try for a takedown if only to keep Lytle guessing.

How can Lytle win, though? I believe Lytle is better at BJJ, but I believe Hardy can survive his BJJ skill set. What Lytle wants to do, is use his Wrestling and boxing to keep Dan Hardy guessing. If he can mix both up really nicely he can keep the outlaw questioning and this will lead to big openings for Lytle.

Nevertheless, I am going with my gut and say Hardy by UD.

Both gentleman will be craving a victory so it should be an awe inspiring match.
Good luck to both Gentleman, and let the best one WiN!
